Meet the Owner: I've been immersed in the Pokémon world since the 90s, captivated by the adventures that began with the release of Red/Blue in the United States. Fast forward to today, and my enthusiasm for Pokémon has only grown stronger. Now almost 33 years old, I'm still as devoted to the Pokémon universe—perhaps even more so, thanks to my 5-year-old daughter who has embarked on her own Pokémon card collecting journey.

Why Whimsy Card Shop? Whimsy Card Shop was born out of a desire to address the soaring inflation of Japanese Pokémon TCG products. Many local shops are offering these products at 3-5 times their MSRP, creating an exorbitant markup. Recognizing the frustration among collectors, we decided to take matters into our own hands and establish Whimsy Card Shop.
